Cooperative Extension

The primary purpose of the North Carolina/Halifax County Cooperative Extension is to provide the people of North Carolina with the most current and relevant unbiased research-based information - - particularly that which is related to enhancing agricultural, forest and food systems, building quality communities, sustaining families, developing responsible youth, and helping all citizens to interpret and use this information in building a more prosperous and satisfying life.
