Camp this week is going to be completely different and very special. Although we are normally a Day Camp, this year the 4-H Rural Life Center in partnership with the National Military Family Association, Inc. will be offering a Residential Camp to children of military families. Deployment affects everyone in the family, not just the service member. Here at camp, we feel the real heroes are the children and we are proud and honored to offer a week of camp to this extremely special group of campers. This is going to be a week you do not want to miss. Sign up for this camp at www.operationpurple.org which will direct you to our web page with a section set up especially for this camp complete with an application at www.halifaxnc.com/4hrurallife or call us with questions at 252-583-1821.
